I’m Chancellor’s Fellow in Health, through Arts, Design and Humanities in the School of Health in Social Science; and an Associate Research Fellow at  the Centre for Research on Families and Relationships, University of Edinburgh.

This blog is a home for my occasional thoughts, some more developed than others – mainly relating to (in no particular order): bodies/embodiment, self-harm, mental health, suicide drug-use, parenting, medicine, alcohol, emotions, sociology and teaching.

  1. Just read your presentation at the Wales conference
Have you been to an AA or NA meeting
There you will hear all the stories both historic and current to last you quite a while
